Description Hands-on activities, a classroom set of laminated Virginia maps and more great resources and great fun! Incorporate gardening activities through your classroom with hands-on activities, SOL-matched lessons focusing on plants and gardening, and receive great classroom resources 6-8 science teachers. These workshops provide resources and information on renewable fuels, watersheds (SOL 6.5), the management of natural resources (SOL 6.8), the understanding of food harvest and production (SOL LS.12), and the investigation of environmental issues (SOL LS.12). Focus on providing future teachers with great lessons and useful resources for their classrooms.
 
AITC staff will work with school divisions, individual schools, colleges and
universities to plan workshops that will truly benefit their teachers.
